In the 7th minute, Sorin Enciulescu made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Bravo. Deporte Provincial Osorno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Marciano Mannhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 minutes, Marciano Mannhardt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deporte Provincial Osorno and the CSD Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Deporte Provincial Osorno got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Mannhardt. After 21 minutes of play, Deporte Provincial Osorno's Luís Gustavo Mangueira made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Murillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudio Bravo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Enciulescu in the 24th minute of play. Sorin Enciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Claudio Bravo made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Enciulescu in the 32nd minute of play forced Deporte Provincial Osorno's goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Gustavo Mangueira in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Murillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luís Gustavo Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deporte Provincial Osorno's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Murillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Deporte Provincial Osorno's Rollo Morales got a free kick in the 45th minute. Deporte Provincial Osorno's Claudio Bravo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Deporte Provincial Osorno from getting a goal against them.

Richard Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Richard Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Sorin Enciulescu notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Deporte Provincial Osorno's Claudio Bravo. Claudio Bravo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CSD Concepción's Lauro Argandoña was substituted for Serafín Jarpa. Deporte Provincial Osorno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boleslaw Puszynski in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marciano Mannhardt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Richard Murillo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Deporte Provincial Osorno's Bermejo Darrigrande was substituted for Luís Gustavo Mangueira. Deporte Provincial Osorno's Rolando Jelves was substituted for Marciano Mannhardt. Pierre Zuidema kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Boleslaw Puszynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Bermejo Darrigrande fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 94th minute, Bastiaro Seña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CSD Concepción fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deporte Provincial Osorno had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
