Soriano Espiñeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon-Ander Echeverría, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Raymundo Carilao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Parra to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Augusto Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Gustavo Caicedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Platypus F.C.'s Soriano Espiñeira threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gabino Calvo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Carlos Gustavo Caicedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Nicanor Parra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Navalito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Navalito's Isidoro Young was substituted for Nicanor Parra. Platypus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 76 minutes into the match, Isidoro Young had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Augusto Oliveira. Platypus F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Young was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
