Grzegorz Bierfass started the match with the kick off. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Bierfass in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Jax came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Anacleto Dessauer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zhuo Xuan Yu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Zhuo Xuan Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peio Raggio in the 17th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Magallanes's Peio Raggio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zhuo Xuan Yu. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Zhuo Xuan Yu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Dessauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Erserman came free, but Ksawery Witkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Dessauer in the 31st minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Zhuo Xuan Yu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Chillán's Zhuo Xuan Yu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peio Raggio in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Florencio Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiburcio Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zhuo Xuan Yu having to interfere. Magallanes's Ksawery Witkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peio Raggio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rickard Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Witkowski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Florencio Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Chillán's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Jax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ksawery Witkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Banda kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ksawery Witkowski made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Rickard Erserman sent off a good shot on target. Tiburcio Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Zhuo Xuan Yu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo was substituted for Grzegorz Bierfass. Magallanes made a substitution. Christiano Soffia replaced Tiburcio Kiliz. Magallanes made a substitution. Juan Mondaca replaced Peio Raggio. If Seran Turres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Juan Mondaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Xuan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Witkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eladio Araujo in the 74th minute of play. Ksawery Witkowski came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Chillán's Eladio Araujo. But to his dismay, Eladio Araujo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magallanes's goalkeeper Ksawery Witkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Loukas Vasdekis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Eladio Araujo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ksawery Witkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
