In the 4th minute, Martin Petkov fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 5 minutes, Martin Petkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Petkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute of the game Sisebuto Pezoa made a throw-in which Elazar Quiero played forward. In the 8th minute, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Martin Petkov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ariel Balboa. Ariel Balboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Martin Petkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Balboa. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. 16 minutes into the match, Orfilio Orbañanos notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Pedro Muro. Pedro Muro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's Orfilio Orbañanos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Muro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Orfilio Orbañanos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Muro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Petkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Pedro Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Petkov in the 38th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Ariel Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro José Nogueira in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Balboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orfilio Orbañanos in the 45th minute of play forced ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s goalkeeper Pedro Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orfilio Orbañanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Petkov to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Muro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Teobaldo Magallanes was substituted for Martin Petkov. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Pedro Muro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ from getting a goal against them. Domingo Barcena came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Muro could save by the left post. U. de Tarapacá's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
