No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orfilio Orbañanos was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Ben Şah dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ariel Balboa, 2-1. U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Lautaro L.P.'s Fulco Urra got a free kick in the 84th minute. Salvador Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Barcena in the 86th minute of the match. Lautaro L.P.'s Ben Şah got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Barcena in the 91st minute of play. U. de Tarapacá's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
