Club Deportivo Diagüita's Mariano Lepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulco Urra in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Lautaro L.P.'s Fulco Urra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Lepe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Lautaro L.P.'s Ben Şah made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Lepe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentín Diban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Salvador Ortega made a huge save. Qi Jun Xiang hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ulises Casos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salvador Ortega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Hedlund in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mariano Lepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ben Şah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Lepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Lautaro L.P. got a freekick which was hit by Liu Chao Bo. Lautaro L.P. made a substitution. Andolín Echeandía replaced Ben Şah. Club Deportivo Diagüita's Emilio Felipe Ancavil was substituted for Victorino Peake. Club Deportivo Diagüita made a substitution. Josep Carrasco replaced Valentín Diban. Lautaro L.P.'s Franz Kafka was substituted for Fulco Urra. Liu Chao Bo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mariano Lepe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Salvador Ortega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josep Carrasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lepe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andolín Echeandía's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Felipe Ancavil in the 80th minute of play forced Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Salvador Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lautaro L.P.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulises Casos was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Diagüita's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Deportivo Diagüita's Josep Carrasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Salvador Ortega despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lautaro L.P.'s Eugenio Irisarri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ulises Casos in the 91 minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Bonifacio Turri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lautaro L.P. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
