An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Cardozo in the 12th minute of play forced Formiga Acreana's goalkeeper Luisinho Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Carvalho scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oséas de Godoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Fernandez having to interfere. Matías Baiano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Luisinho Fernandez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Erik Cardozo took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Luisinho Fernandez to make any attempt to save it. Jundia's Oséas de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Carvalho in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Paulo Machado in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oséas de Godoy saved Jundia from getting behind. Oséas de Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Jundia's Jacinto de Mendonça got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Oséas de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Machado in the 46th minute of the match. José Paulo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Oséas de Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Formiga Acreana's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
