Spectators: 7209 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Poaia EC's Valdomiro Pires started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Tormenta AD's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Pires came free, but Gerson Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerson Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Barreto in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Conrado Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerson Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Bueno in the 9th minute of play. Tormenta AD's 楚宽克 got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Jean de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Poaia EC's goal looked a bit too open when 楚宽克 came free, but Fiori Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When 楚宽克 fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tormenta AD's protests and gave 楚宽克 a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Poaia EC booed when Tormenta AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 楚宽克 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerson Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Rafa de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Poaia EC got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Bueno. Gerson Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerson Esteves came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Poaia EC's Conrado Barreto. But to his dismay, Conrado Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Poaia EC's Jean de Andrade got a free kick in the 35th minute. Juan de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Bueno in the 39th minute of play forced Tormenta AD's goalkeeper Gerson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Tormenta AD's Rafa de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiori Valle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Rafa de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 楚宽克 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sylven Van Eyke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poaia EC's Juan de Sena got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Juan de Sena off the ground. A collision led to Poaia EC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Juan de Sena hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, 楚宽克 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiori Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gerson Esteves made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jean de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. 楚宽克 kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Poaia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Marcel da Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poaia EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Emílio Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Barreto got free with Gerson Esteves in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Bueno in the 88th minute of play forced Tormenta AD's goalkeeper Gerson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Poaia EC's Felippe Bueno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerson Esteves. Gerson Esteves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Jean de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gerson Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Poaia EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tormenta AD throughout the match.
