In the 19th minute Geovani Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Filipe dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenílson Madureira. Lenílson Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Motta in the 25th minute of the match. Lenílson Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Téo Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenílson Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Filipe dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Carneiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raimundo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho de Andrade in the 76th minute of play forced Maristela's goalkeeper Wiliam Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho de Andrade in the 79th minute of play. Raimundo Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Maristela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
