After 31 played minutes Timbosal got a freekick which was hit by Conrado do Nascimento. A nice corner shot did that João Chaves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vitinho Favoretto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Samuel Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. João Chaves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 60 minutes, Gutierrez Dorrego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jardineiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gutierrez Dorrego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro de Senna in the 62nd minute of play forced Jardineiro's goalkeeper Ronaldo de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Conrado do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timbosal's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Timbosal's Aleandro de Senna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo de Azevedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Samuel Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitinho Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Favoretto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gutierrez Dorrego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleandro de Senna didn't quite understand what happened when in the 89 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jardineiro had won after a very even match.
