To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the game, Sport united's Cássio Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Vinhas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 27th minute Cássio Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toninho Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Percy Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sport united booed when Agroboys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gino Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Ricardo Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport united fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Charles Vinhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Toninho Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Percy Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sport united walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
