The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemente Paulista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. E.C. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Alcântara couldn't finish the play. Severino Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Bastos's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Clóvis Borges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Rocha. Reriutaba SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clóvis Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
