Flavinho Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavinho Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Flavinho Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Chaves scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donatello Proença, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedê Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Jeremias Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Manaus FC. After 18 played minutes Luzitana AD got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Porto. Silvinho Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Real Manaus FC's goalkeeper Donatello Proença had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Vianna. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Luzitana AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Manaus FC:s goal. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Real Manaus FC. Aleandro Ceresso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jeremias Luz. 1-1. Luzitana AD's Jeremias Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Meirelles in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mathias Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donatello Proença was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Silvinho Guimarães's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Luz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dedê Albuquerque to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Meirelles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias Luz. Pedro Luiz Meirelles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Valdemar Rosa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Mathias Chaves struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Donatello Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzitana AD. Dedê Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Luz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. Flavinho Leão got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 65th minute, Flavinho Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz Meirelles in the 68th minute of the match. Silvinho Guimarães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Jeremias Luz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wellington da Costa hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Pedro Luiz Meirelles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Mathias Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Luzitana AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Chaves couldn't finish the play. Donatello Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Wilson Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Mathias Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donatello Proença saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Manaus FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jonathan Pontes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Chaves in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donatello Proença saved Real Manaus FC from getting behind. After 94 played minutes Real Manaus FC got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Albuquerque. Real Manaus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
