Armando Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that João Francisco Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei Teixeira was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Armando Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, João Francisco Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gouvea Super 21's Claudinei Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Chaves in the 38th minute of play. Armando Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Gouvea Super 21 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ipueirinha were winning 0-1.

Leandro Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Teixeira having to interfere. Tostão Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute João Francisco dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Washington Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ipueirinha played a much better game than Gouvea Super 21 and deserved their victory. The Gouvea Super 21 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
