Luciano Vidal might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelo Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Vidal ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 17 in the game by Luciano Vidal from a close distance when the talented Marcelo Severo managed to make a qualified save. Miritizal's players were relieved. Domenico Barresi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Severo having to interfere. Marcelo Severo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Eliézer de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miritizal's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliézer de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The wind increased when Luciano Vidal made the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Severo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Barresi in the 78th minute of play forced Miritizal's goalkeeper Marcelo Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Severo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Silva in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Miritizal's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Faustino came free, but Marcelo Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Basílio Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miritizal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave .... the free kick. Basílio Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miritizal's goalkeeper Marcelo Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelo Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenico Barresi in the 90th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Miritizal's zone, Luciano Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Severo came out of the goal and Luciano Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, José Maria Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Severo. Miritizal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Maria Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
