After having played for 7 minutes, Juninho Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gameleira A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafim Souto made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gameleira A.C.'s Oscar Mineiro. Juninho Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Cristóvão Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Oscar Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fernando Godoi's late challenge caught a Gameleira A.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fernando Godoi helped the player get up and apologised. Luiz Fernando Godoi hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Gameleira A.C.'s Emerson Soares got control of the ball when Doriva Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristóvão Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juninho Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Oscar Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Hermes having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Oscar Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juninho Valladares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juninho Valladares might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Hermes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Moitas SS getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Umberto Prestes hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match Juninho Valladares climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Cristóvão Hermes. 68 minutes into the game, Bruno Vargas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Emerson Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 74 minutes, Bruno Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moitas SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gameleira A.C.'s Emerson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sena in the 78th minute of play. Samuca Braga charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Samuca Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gameleira A.C.'s Emerson Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sena in the 84th minute of play. Emerson Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Vargas in the 90th minute of the match. Doriva Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Soares having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Bruno Vargas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gameleira A.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Moitas SS.
