Oscar Valle succeeded in the game's 6th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 9th minute of the match André Luís Palmeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavinho Domingues showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Jacareí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Vasconcelos came free, but Flavinho Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antônio Carlos Amorim during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antônio Carlos Amorim hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Cipriano Vergílio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Fernando Paranaense skillfully saved the ball. In the 25th match minute, Itacuruba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fernando Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Paraibano in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Coutinho in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando Paranaense saved Itacuruba SS from getting behind. Oscar Valle in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavinho Domingues, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reinaldo Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luís Fernando Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jacareí FC's zone, Oscar Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho Domingues came out of the goal and Oscar Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Oscar Valle came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Itacuruba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Valle couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telmo Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Jacareí FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Antunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Oscar Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavinho Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The supporters of Jacareí FC booed when Itacuruba SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itacuruba SS's Luís Fernando Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Itacuruba SS from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Valle in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavinho Domingues came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Itacuruba SS's Telmo Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Telmo Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reinaldo Coutinho in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fernando Paranaense saved Itacuruba SS from getting behind. Cipriano Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Cipriano Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Valle in the 85th minute of play. Jacareí FC's Flavinho Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Vasconcelos in the 87th minute of play. Itacuruba SS's Luís Fernando Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Itacuruba SS from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Vasconcelos in the 91st minute of play forced Jacareí FC's goalkeeper Flavinho Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jacareí FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cipriano Vergílio hit a great ball.
