Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafa Correia started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Nelson Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celsinho Diniz was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Celsinho Diniz was a little too slow when Nelson Toledo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute Nelson Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 minutes, Téo Vander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AF CERRADO and the Carauari players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafa Correia hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 18 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Novaes. After having played for 31 minutes, Telmo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Toledo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Diniz saved Carauari from getting behind. Claudinei Novaes might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Diniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinei Novaes ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Júlio Ramos's late challenge caught a AF CERRADO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Júlio Ramos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Carauari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Ramos to maneuver through the defense. In the 57thth minute of the game Nelson Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carauari's Celsinho Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinei Novaes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelson Toledo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celsinho Diniz saved Carauari from getting behind. After 65 minutes, Nelson Toledo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carauari's Celsinho Diniz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelson Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celsinho Diniz having to interfere. Téo Vander struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Celsinho Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF CERRADO. Alfredão Zonta hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Telmo Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nelson Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the AF CERRADO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Toledo couldn't finish the play. If Telmo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Nelson Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF CERRADO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Samuel Fredericks managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Fredericks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celsinho Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96thth minute of the game Nelson Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carauari's Celsinho Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that AF CERRADO were the better team. AF CERRADO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
