Válbson Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Vascão Da Massa getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rodrigo Paulista hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Borges in the 20th minute of play forced Amarões's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vascão Da Massa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amarões the free kick. Amarões's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
