Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerson Pimenta started the match with the kick off. Sebastião Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Damazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Carlos Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Soeiro in the 9th minute. Sebastião Meira came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Real feirense-BA's Márcio Corrêa. But to his dismay, Márcio Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Armando Trancoso hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Sebastião Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Corrêa in the 20th minute of the match. Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Paraíba in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match, Giuseppe Soeiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Carlos Torres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuseppe Soeiro got free with Carlos Torres in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Soeiro in the 32nd minute. Carlos Torres came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Juca's Giuseppe Soeiro. But to his dismay, Giuseppe Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Juca's Cauã Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juca's Sebastião Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Corrêa in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Real feirense-BA were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márcio Corrêa made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Alfredo Cruz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Juca's Sebastião Meira got control of the ball when Márcio Corrêa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celsinho Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Damazki in the 60th minute of play forced Juca's goalkeeper Sebastião Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Márcio Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real feirense-BA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márcio Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Damazki, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. João Pedro Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Meira having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 72 minutes into the game, when Celsinho Travassos put in a rough tackle. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real feirense-BA! An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Soeiro in the 87th minute of play forced Real feirense-BA's goalkeeper Carlos Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Juca's Giuseppe Soeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Torres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Soeiro in the 92nd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
