Spectators: 7008 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Váldson Vaz took the kick off in the first half of the match. BOMGOLE's Flávio Porto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by José Pedro Lopes but with some difficulty. When Alpinino FC's Almir Travassos in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOMGOLE's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Fábio Souza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Pedro Lopes. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. BOMGOLE's Giovani Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Dias in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Alpinino FC booed when BOMGOLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alpinino FC's Tião Maranhense tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, BOMGOLE's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Dias came free, but Giovani Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovani Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Váldson Vaz in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Alpinino FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlindo Abraão. After 25 minutes, Delfim Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BOMGOLE and the Alpinino FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute of the match Tião Maranhense shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovani Vieira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arlindo Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Lopes having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fábio Souza in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Pedro Lopes saved Alpinino FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as BOMGOLE's Luiz Fábio Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Pedro Lopes. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. Váldson Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. BOMGOLE's Giovani Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Dias in the 44th minute of play. Almir Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovani Vieira having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Almir Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giovani Vieira. BOMGOLE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Almir Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fábio Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Almir Dias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giovani Vieira came out and tried to block the shot, but Almir Dias slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 55th minute. A collision led to Alpinino FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tião Maranhense hit a great ball. Chiquinho Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Pedro Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Delfim Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Abraão in the 70th minute of play forced Alpinino FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arlindo Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Lopes having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, BOMGOLE's Luiz Fábio Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Pedro Lopes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Almir Dias struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Giovani Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpinino FC. Giovani Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Almir Dias in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Almir Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpinino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovani Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Almir Dias had several of the BOMGOLE's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-4 score and a disappointed Giovani Vieira as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giovani Vieira stood somewhat misplaced when Váldson Vaz came free in front of goal and shot 3-5 to the left of him in the 93 minute. Váldson Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
