In the 15th minute, Pedro Augusto Saraiva made a precise shot to the right of Telmo Paiva. GHOST BLACK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Armando Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Simão in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Clube Piraju de Futebol defense, Dênis Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Terra. The Clube Piraju de Futebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Terra should have stopped the shot. Armando Terra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dênis Duarte's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Terra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Dênis Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the GHOST BLACK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis Duarte couldn't finish the play. If Joaquim Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dênis Duarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Telmo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Vides in the 51st minute of play. Dênis Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Armando Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GHOST BLACK's Telmo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder da Silva in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Piraju de Futebol's goalkeeper Armando Terra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the GHOST BLACK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clube Piraju de Futebol.
