Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Conrado Medeiros took the kick off in the first half of the match. MG futebol clube's Conrado Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Tande in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano Braga saved Periseiro from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Conrado Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fabiano Braga. Periseiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Periseiro's Luís Fabiano Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Medeiros in the 14th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Luiz Paulo Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Miguel Alagoano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fabiano Braga came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by MG futebol clube's Willian Cruz. But to his dismay, Willian Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Victor Cuesta kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Periseiro's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Fabiano Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Medeiros in the 42nd minute of play. Amauri Abreu's late challenge caught a MG futebol clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amauri Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Lauro Orbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Willian Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Alagoano made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, MG futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Tande to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Sabóia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Miguel Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Aloísio de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Sowa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Periseiro's Luís Fabiano Braga got control of the ball when Luiz Paulo Tande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Korneliusz Sowa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Alagoano in the 77th minute of play. Periseiro were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after MG futebol clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Guilherme Gaspar took the corner. After taking down the ball on Periseiro's corner Luís Guilherme Gaspar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Korneliusz Sowa quite easily take care of the ball. MG futebol clube's Korneliusz Sowa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio de Brito in the 80th minute of play. Korneliusz Sowa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lauro Orbiz fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MG futebol clube's protests and gave Lauro Orbiz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, MG futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Orbiz to maneuver through the defense. If Amauri Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Periseiro getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rafinha Catarinense hit a great ball. In the 90th minute Conrado Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Korneliusz Sowa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
