Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Cotias's Willian Pimenta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Álvaro Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Willian Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotias's supporters rose to their feet, but Willian Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Netto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Carlos Soares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Donato Gaúcho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20thth minute of the game Willian Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nicacio's Cássio Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Nicacio's Raí Arantes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Cotias's Donato Gaúcho got control of the ball when Carlos Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cotias's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Soares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 36 minutes into the match, Nicacio's Carlos Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Gaúcho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Raí Arantes rounded Cotias's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raí Arantes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Willian Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Cássio Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cotias. In the 56th match minute, Nicacio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Donato Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafu Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Cássio Cardozo made a huge save. In the 62nd minute, Ezequiel Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Nicacio's Cássio Cardozo got control of the ball when Cafu Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicacio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Cafu Seco scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Cardozo, making the score, 2-1. 70 minutes into the match, Nicacio's goalkeeper Cássio Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willian Pimenta. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cafu Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotias's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Cardozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80th play minutes Raí Arantes shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Donato Gaúcho and just under the crossbar into goal. Raí Arantes might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raí Arantes ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Carlos Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Gaúcho. Cotias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Donato Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Nicacio's Raí Arantes. But to his dismay, Raí Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nicacio had played much better football throughout.
