In the 10th match minute, Cabeco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Matos to maneuver through the defense. Falcão Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Brodel having to interfere. If Clóvis da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Canicura AD's Clóvis da Fonseca in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabeco's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the game, Lucas Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canicura AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabeco the free kick. The referee showed João Vítor Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cabeco booed when Canicura AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Falcão Novaes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raphael Brodel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Clóvis da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Falcão Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canicura AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Brodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clóvis da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Brodel having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clóvis da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raphael Brodel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. João Vítor Rocha hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Cabeco's Adelino Corrêa in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 75 played minutes Canicura AD got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Rocha. Raphael Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Novaes in the 80th minute of play. Adelino Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Augusto Cearense having to interfere. José Augusto Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Corrêa in the 88th minute of the match. Raphael Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis da Fonseca in the 90th minute of the match. Falcão Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Brodel having to interfere. Canicura AD were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
