Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Célio Vasconcelos started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Bernardo Barbosa sped through Pejeu EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luan Medeiros. After a defensive mix-up in Pejeu EC's zone, Bernardo Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Medeiros came out of the goal and Bernardo Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Barbosa in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Medeiros saved Pejeu EC from getting behind. Luan Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Barbosa in the 18th minute of the match. With his leg Luan Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Curimatau SC's Bernardo Barbosa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vitinho Maia kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pejeu EC's Válbson Tróia got a free kick in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Barbosa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Medeiros saved Pejeu EC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardo Barbosa in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luan Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curimatau SC's Nilson Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Vasconcelos in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Barbosa in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Medeiros saved Pejeu EC from getting behind. Célio Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nilson Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Barbosa to make the kick off. Evaristo Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luan Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Curimatau SC booed when Pejeu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evaristo Donatello took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Corrêa. Nilson Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Curimatau SC's Nilson Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Célio Vasconcelos in the 67th minute of play. Luan Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Barbosa in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Leonel Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Curimatau SC's Bernardo Barbosa in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pejeu EC's goalie prevented a goal. Luan Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Barbosa in the 87th minute of play. Duda Mota's late challenge caught a Curimatau SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duda Mota helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luan Medeiros was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After 93 played minutes Pejeu EC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Dantas. After 96 minutes of play, Pejeu EC's Evaristo Penha made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
