Alexandre Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manoel Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexandre Dantas came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Furacão do Paraná EC's Manoel Coelho. But to his dismay, Manoel Coelho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Leandro Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jardel Mota struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Alexandre Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furacão do Paraná EC. After a rather tough play, Furacão do Paraná EC's Vítor Faria got a free kick in the 40th minute. A collision led to Furacão do Paraná EC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adriaan Velloso hit a great ball. Evaristo Meireles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Cisterna FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Furacão do Paraná EC's Dorian Matorin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Furacão do Paraná EC from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dênis Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Furacão do Paraná EC booed when Cisterna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Faria got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 64 minutes into the match, Furacão do Paraná EC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Meireles came free, but Dorian Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Manoel Coelho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cisterna FC's Alexandre Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Mota in the 67th minute of play. Benjamim da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamim da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cisterna FC's Benjamim da Cunha got a free kick in the 70th minute. A hard, long distance shot from Lauro Quirino flew over the goal. Jardel Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Dantas having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederico Munhoz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frederico Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Dênis Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Alagoano in the 78th minute of play forced Furacão do Paraná EC's goalkeeper Dorian Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Evaristo Meireles notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Furacão do Paraná EC's Dorian Matorin. Dorian Matorin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, one of Cisterna FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cisterna FC. Cisterna FC's Evaristo Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorian Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederico Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Dorian Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
