An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Almeida in the 17th minute of play forced SPORTBEL's goalkeeper Ulysses de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, SPORTBEL's Willian Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Daniel Varela notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dobrado SS's Wágner Duarte. Wágner Duarte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulysses de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão Almeida in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Wágner Duarte managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when SPORTBEL's Daniel Varela fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Orlando Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 played minutes Dobrado SS got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Ramos. Daniel Varela struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Wágner Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPORTBEL. Daniel Varela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner Duarte having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Almeida in the 42nd minute of play forced SPORTBEL's goalkeeper Ulysses de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 46 in the game by Daniel Varela from a close distance when the talented Wágner Duarte managed to make a qualified save. Dobrado SS's players were relieved. Orlando Abraão might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wágner Duarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Abraão ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Dobrado SS got a freekick which was hit by Lino de Mendonça. Dobrado SS's Wágner Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Breckenfeld in the 59th minute of play. Wágner Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. SPORTBEL's Daniel Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, SPORTBEL's Daniel Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wágner Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Dobrado SS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Varela came free, but Wágner Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Abraão in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, SPORTBEL's goalkeeper Ulysses de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino de Mendonça. In the 89th minute, Daniel Varela made a precise shot to the right of Wágner Duarte. Dobrado SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Dobrado SS's zone, Orlando Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wágner Duarte came out of the goal and Orlando Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SPORTBEL fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dobrado SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
