Helena de Tróia FC's Chico Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvério Palmeira in the 36th minute of play. Júlio Paes struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Felipe Quaresma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Helena de Tróia FC. Qin Jian Chao received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felipe Quaresma came out and tried to block the shot, but Qin Jian Chao slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltazar Linares was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Zacarias de Toledo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chico Carneiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Hames in the 76th minute of play forced Helena de Tróia FC's goalkeeper Chico Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafu Damião during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chico Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Feirinha were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Helena de Tróia FC side.
