Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ademir Quadros started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Sydney de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ademir Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Biertrinker FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademir Quadros couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Samuel Motta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dorian Zanette. The goal made the score 1-0. Rômulo Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dorian Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rômulo Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. Bebeto Trancoso hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Lekinha FC defense, Ademir Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Gerber. The Lekinha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Gerber should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes of play, Lekinha FC's Samuel Motta made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorian Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Olavo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rômulo Vianna hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Ademir Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes Lekinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Motta. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Ademir Quadros put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Gerber. Biertrinker FC's Ademir Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Biertrinker FC booed when Lekinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bebeto Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Trancoso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Emanuel Valadares fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christian Gerber, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Biertrinker FC's zone, Bebeto Trancoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorian Zanette came out of the goal and Bebeto Trancoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christian Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Quadros in the 54th minute of play. Biertrinker FC made a substitution. Cristóvão Fernandes replaced Ademir Quadros. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Cristóvão Fernandes took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Christian Gerber to make any attempt to save it. Olavo da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olavo da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Gerber having to interfere. Christian Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Fernandes in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Olavo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biertrinker FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Biertrinker FC's César da Costa was substituted for Francisco Paiva. If Cristóvão Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christian Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th match minute, Lekinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Gerber having to interfere. Olavo da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Biertrinker FC's Cristóvão Fernandes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristóvão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Gerber having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Lekinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Fernandes came free, but Christian Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Biertrinker FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Biertrinker FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
