Laranjais's Cauan Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Munhoz in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Lencosther FC's Fernando Donatello made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cauan Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! André Luiz Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Nelsinho Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lencosther FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Munhoz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauan Trevisan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lencosther FC's goalkeeper Mané de Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Enéas Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enéas Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan Trevisan having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
