Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reinaldo de Souza took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Murici EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Murici EC's zone, Reinaldo de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Barros came out of the goal and Reinaldo de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Murici EC's João Francisco Penha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A collision led to SE Estrela RO getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Juarês Albuquerque hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, SE Estrela RO's goalkeeper Allan Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Pirani. Emerson Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Allan Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Emerson Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Francisco Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Koehler having to interfere. João Francisco Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Allan Koehler made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Emerson Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. SE Estrela RO's Allan Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Penha in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, João Francisco Penha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Allan Koehler saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, SE Estrela RO's Allan Koehler got control of the ball when Emerson Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco Penha made a kick off. Allan Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes of play, Murici EC's João Francisco Penha made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Allan Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! João Francisco Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Zézinho Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, SE Estrela RO's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Ferraz came free, but Allan Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Murici EC's zone, Reinaldo de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Barros came out of the goal and Reinaldo de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Reinaldo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SE Estrela RO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If João Francisco Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, SE Estrela RO's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Penha came free, but Allan Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Reinaldo de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SE Estrela RO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo de Souza couldn't finish the play. João Francisco Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emerson Ferraz in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Allan Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zézinho Alves fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Estrela RO's protests and gave Zézinho Alves a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, Zézinho Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Emerson Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Murici EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edinho Gerber's late challenge caught a Murici EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes SE Estrela RO got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Gerber. Allan Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Penha in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Murici EC had won after a very even match.
