The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dieguinho Bueno came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Maracachita SC's Décio Tasso. But to his dismay, Décio Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Valdo Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dieguinho Bueno having to interfere. Dieguinho Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Proença in the 85th minute of play forced Lindeza AD's goalkeeper Dieguinho Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano Proença got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Dieguinho Bueno handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lindeza AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
