Quimera V.T's Gerson Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva de Alcântara in the 10th minute of play. Doriva de Alcântaras short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Gerson Secco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gerson Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boa Esporte Clube's Lino Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Mangueira in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doriva de Alcântara in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerson Secco saved Quimera V.T from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Doriva de Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Elano da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Gerson Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quimera V.T's Gerson Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano da Silva in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Boa Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. David Lago hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Toledo made a kick off. The Boa Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Boa Esporte Clube's Doriva de Alcântara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 60 minutes of play, Boa Esporte Clube's Doriva de Alcântara made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Secco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerson Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano da Silva in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doriva de Alcântara in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerson Secco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st match minute, Boa Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Leite to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Secco came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Boa Esporte Clube's Doriva de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Doriva de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Doriva de Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerson Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Boa Esporte Clube's Doriva de Alcântara in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quimera V.T's goalie prevented a goal. In the 92nd minute, Cafu Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Pombal in the 95th minute of the match. Boa Esporte Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
