The MetalSlug Forever Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Lopes should have stopped the shot. Percival Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cobras Fumantes's Percival Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Viana in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Cobras Fumantes were the better team. Cobras Fumantes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
