Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cássio Reis started the match with the kick off. Jano Urbano made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Carlos Augusto Sena sent off a good shot on target. Jano Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Vianna in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th play minute Henrique Severo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jano Urbano. 1-0. Papageios SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Elano Tavares scored to the left of an out of position Jano Urbano, making the score, 2-0. In the 19th match minute, Papageios SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Tavares in the 24th minute of play forced Papageios SS's goalkeeper Jano Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bahia SS's Vitinho Vianna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jano Urbano. That made the score 3-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 31st minute Vitinho Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Cássio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Corrêa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Josué Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Damião read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Vitinho Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bahia SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitinho Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitinho Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Henrique Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Damião having to interfere. In the 59th minute Vitinho Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bahia SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. If Cássio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bahia SS had played much better football throughout.
