After 7 played minutes TIRENSE FC got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Lago. After having played for 13 minutes, Dedê Lago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TIRENSE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedê Lago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Luiz Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Erasmo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Prabes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes TIRENSE FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Costa. In the 25th minute of the match Andrézinho dos Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesinha Prabes skillfully saved the ball. Vito Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vito Xavier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TIRENSE FC's Vito Xavier got a free kick in the 31st minute. Alexandrina's Nelson Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Alexandrina from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Alexandrina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Alexandrina's zone, Dedê Lago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Brito came out of the goal and Dedê Lago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Lukas Ziegler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Brito having to interfere. Rodrigo Costa's late challenge caught a Alexandrina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alexandrina! In the 74th minute of the match Rodrigo Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Sandrinho de Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nelson Brito. Alexandrina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho de Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of Alexandrina booed when TIRENSE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th match minute, TIRENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TIRENSE FC fully deserved thier win.
