An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilmar Abraão in the 4th minute of play forced Almenara SS's goalkeeper Falcão Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Almenara SS's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Ferraz came free, but Falcão Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Paranaense in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabiano Meirelles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Murilo Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Almenara SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Paranaense couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Murilo Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabiano Meirelles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emanuel da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Meirelles having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Paranaense in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabiano Meirelles saved Primavera AD from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Murilo Paranaense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabiano Meirelles. That made the score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Almenara SS's Walmyr Massa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabiano Meirelles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Murilo Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walmyr Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Meirelles having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilmar Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Walmyr Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute, Murilo Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primavera AD's Erasmo Xavier shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Falcão Coutinho but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Primavera AD's João Augusto de Barros got a free kick in the 60th minute. Murilo Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aírton Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Almenara SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Marquez couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Primavera AD booed when Almenara SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Primavera AD got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Valadares. 73 minutes into the game, Murilo Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Fabiano Meirelles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by Hernani Veiga in the 79th minute really tested Falcão Coutinho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Cristian Marques fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almenara SS's protests and gave Cristian Marques a yellow card for diving instead. Almenara SS made a substitution. Carlos Eduardo Magalhães replaced Emanuel da Cunha. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Cristian Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almenara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murilo Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilmar Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fabiano Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Eduardo Magalhães went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Primavera AD's zone, Murilo Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Meirelles came out of the goal and Murilo Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almenara SS had played much better football throughout.
