If Lucio Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enio Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Saldanha's late challenge caught a Lessa Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mané Saldanha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Mané Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Cabral in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Francisco Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juarês Donatello was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Lucio Chago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucio Chago really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Silvinho Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras do Acre's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Lessa Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Nilson Silva.
