An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelsinho Koehler in the 47th minute of play forced Chupeta SC's goalkeeper Rômulo Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabiano de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chupeta SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Só Canelas F.C. the free kick. The Só Canelas F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0.
