The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Cristóvão de Lima fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ABUTRES FC's protests and gave Cristóvão de Lima a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when ABUTRES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristóvão de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bandelocos's Vicente Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão de Lima in the 17th minute of play. Jaime Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erasmo Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ABUTRES FC's zone, Jaime Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Quintal came out of the goal and Jaime Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Quintal came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bandelocos's Erasmo Neves. But to his dismay, Erasmo Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in ABUTRES FC's zone, Jano Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Quintal came out of the goal and Jano Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael Coelho lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 42nd minute, ABUTRES FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jano Eger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Erasmo Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joosep Kaasik got free with César Quintal in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jano Eger scored 2-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of César Quintal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 57th minute, Jano Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Erasmo Neves notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ABUTRES FC's César Quintal. César Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute, Erasmo Neves made a precise shot to the right of César Quintal. ABUTRES FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Tiago Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. César Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dadá de Souza hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. César Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bandelocos walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
