Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Soul Society's Pedrinho Senna seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pedrinho Senna the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soul Society protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pedrinho Senna had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé Linhares in the 8th minute of play. If Derek Tindale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Arthur de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lucelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Frederico Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derek Tindale in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão de Azevedo saved Soul Society from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldinho Nogueira during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Soul Society was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Frederico Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chicão de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristian Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Tindale in the 36th minute of play forced Soul Society's goalkeeper Chicão de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucelia's Derek Tindale got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Beto Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Soul Society's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Cordeiro came free, but Chicão de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chicão de Azevedo having to interfere. When Derek Tindale came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Lucelia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derek Tindale couldn't finish the play. The Soul Society players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lucelia were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldinho Nogueira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Macedo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Chicão de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lucelia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Tindale in the 52nd minute of play forced Soul Society's goalkeeper Chicão de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Cristian Macedo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Chicão de Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. When Lucelia's Derek Tindale in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soul Society's goalie prevented a goal. Luís de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Lucelia fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Lucelia's Derek Tindale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 80 played minutes Soul Society got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Nogueira. Lucelia's Derek Tindale got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldinho Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucelia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
