In the 10thth minute of the game Edu Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaianas FC's João Francisco Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Guaianas FC's Wlodzimierz Kaszubowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Pedro Peres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edu Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Alves having to interfere. After some careless play in the Passarinhos SS defense, Wlodzimierz Kaszubowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Pedro Peres. The Passarinhos SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Pedro Peres should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes, Wlodzimierz Kaszubowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaianas FC and the Passarinhos SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wlodzimierz Kaszubowski kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. João Francisco Alves made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nico Urbano sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué da Silva in the 45th minute of play forced Passarinhos SS's goalkeeper José Pedro Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 45 minutes on the clock, Júnior Capixaba commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nico Urbano to strike the kick off in the second half. If Emerson Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Francisco Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Urbano in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Guaianas FC booed when Passarinhos SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emerson Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Peres having to interfere. Emerson Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guaianas FC booed when Passarinhos SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Pedro Peres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emerson Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the game, Leonel Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaianas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Passarinhos SS the free kick. A collision led to Guaianas FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leonel Vaz hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Guaianas FC's Wlodzimierz Kaszubowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Pedro Peres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Passarinhos SS got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Lima. In the 87th minute, Cauan Vander fired a really elegant long shot, but José Pedro Peres threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Passarinhos SS's José Pedro Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Araújo in the 94th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Kaszubowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Peres having to interfere.
