Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Acácio Vander got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Extremas booed when Josefina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes, Acácio Vander made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Josefina's Glauco Ferreira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Mendonça got free with Beto da Silveira in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Extremas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Zacarias Quadros scored to the left of an out of position Beto da Silveira, making the score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Souto during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Josefina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Souto to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match, Fausto Ceresso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beto da Silveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Extremas's Beto da Silveira got control of the ball when Iuri Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beto da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Ceresso in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Eliseu Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Josefina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Acácio Vander in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glauco Ferreira saved Josefina from getting behind. Ulisses Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Iuri Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glauco Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Leite in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Vander in the 39th minute of play forced Josefina's goalkeeper Glauco Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glauco Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Paraibano in the 41st minute of play. Glauco Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iuri Ramalho in the 57th minute of play forced Extremas's goalkeeper Beto da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beto da Silveira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Ceresso went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute Tostão Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Iuri Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beto da Silveira. Extremas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iuri Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Eliseu Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Zacarias Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Fausto Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Beto da Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Beto da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Ceresso in the 88th minute of the match. Beto da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Josefina's zone, Acácio Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Ferreira came out of the goal and Acácio Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josefina were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Extremas for a fine match.
