Zé Carlos Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Zé Carlos Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Paulo Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zé Carlos Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Luciano Rodrigues notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Bananal's Fabiano Seco. Fabiano Seco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bananal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bernardo Quintal in the 27th minute. Maurinho Severo made a great header on Bananal's corner, it was just that Analandia FC's Zé Carlos Maranhense managed to reach the ball for a save. Fabiano Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Cosme in the 29th minute of the match. Richard Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Tomás Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Analandia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bananal the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Analandia FC's zone, Tomás Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Maranhense came out of the goal and Tomás Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Araújo got free with Zé Carlos Maranhense in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomás Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Maranhense having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Paulo Araújo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Analandia FC's Zé Carlos Maranhense. Zé Carlos Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

After a rather tough play, Bananal's Dida Neiva got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Zé Paulo Veloso, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Bananal's Fabiano Seco got control of the ball when Dário Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Paulo Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Carlos Maranhense was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 63 played minutes Bananal got a freekick which was hit by Dida Neiva. Paulo Araújo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Carlos Maranhense having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Tomás Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Carlos Maranhense was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of Analandia FC booed when Bananal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Carlos Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Araújo in the 81st minute of play. Renan da Silveira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Tomás Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes, Tomás Vander made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Analandia FC's Zé Carlos Maranhense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Bananal were the better team. Bananal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
