In the 4th minute, Noite Sombria Fc's Prospero Bilbo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Veiga. Nilson Veiga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Prospero Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Urubucu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johnny Falkrans was slow to take the kick. During this time Noite Sombria Fc's players had a chance to rest. Nilson Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Bilbo in the 15th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Urubucu's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Bilbo came free, but Nilson Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Vitinho Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durvalino Carioca was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Urubucu's goalkeeper Nilson Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Serafo. In the 30th minute David Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Noite Sombria Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aluísio Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Durvalino Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noite Sombria Fc's Durvalino Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Falcão in the 36th minute of play. Durvalino Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Lucas Galvão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urubucu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noite Sombria Fc the free kick. A collision led to Urubucu getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lucas Galvão hit a great ball. Alan Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nilson Veiga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noite Sombria Fc. Durvalino Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Falcão in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Dedé Paranaense kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Durvalino Carioca. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. The supporters of Noite Sombria Fc booed when Urubucu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noite Sombria Fc's Durvalino Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Noite Sombria Fc from getting a goal against them. Durvalino Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Bilbo in the 79th minute of play forced Urubucu's goalkeeper Nilson Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Veiga having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Vitinho Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Durvalino Carioca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Dedé Paranaense took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Durvalino Carioca to make any attempt to save it. Urubucu's Nilson Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Serafo in the 95th minute of play. Durvalino Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Rossi in the 96th minute of the match. The Noite Sombria Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Urubucu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
