Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dedé Paranaense started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Lucas Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Mirandinha's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Galvão came free, but Arsenio Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Orlan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 played minutes Urubucu got a freekick which was hit by Válter Tasso. In the 18th minute, Dinei Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Mirandinha got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Faria. Arsenio Jordy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitinho Vieira in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitinho Vieira got free with Arsenio Jordy in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mirandinha's Froilan Orlan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Urubucu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute Dedé Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Mirandinha's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Galvão came free, but Arsenio Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fabiano Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Lucas Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urubucu and the Mirandinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Urubucu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Galvão to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Vitinho Vieira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Jordy. Mirandinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitinho Vieira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute Vitinho Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Paranaense in the 53rd minute of play forced Mirandinha's goalkeeper Arsenio Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Luís Fabiano Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Vieira in the 64th minute of play. Arsenio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Mirandinha's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Galvão came free, but Arsenio Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Paranaense in the 72nd minute of play. Nilson Veiga made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Luís Fabiano Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Mirandinha's Arsenio Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Vieira in the 75th minute of play. Froilan Orlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Veiga having to interfere. A collision led to Urubucu getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. David Falcão hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Dedé Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruninho Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 87th minute of the match David Falcão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave David Falcão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After having played for 91 minutes, Luís Fabiano Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirandinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fabiano Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenio Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Vieira in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Lucas Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arsenio Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirandinha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
