The long shot by Simão Matorin in the 36th minute really tested Silvinho Rosado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Silvinho Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Pirani in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute Lucas Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

53 minutes into the game, Fausto Capixaba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lampião FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garuva FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Pirani in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 69th minute of the match Agenor Branco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho Rosado skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Lampião FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Pirani came free, but Silvinho Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Pirani in the 75th minute of the match. Bruninho de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lampião FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Rosado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fausto Capixaba was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Garuva FC's Lucas Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Pirani in the 88th minute of play forced Lampião FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Pirani's shot from short distance in the 90th minute.
