Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elias Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jerônimo Damião kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charles Paiva. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 7th minute, Dedé Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guga Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cantareia's protests and gave Guga Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cantareia's Guga Silveira got a free kick in the 9th minute. Jerônimo Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Charles Paiva made a huge save. Mané Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Charles Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Cantareia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. If Mané Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Mané Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mané Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Corrêa during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cantareia's Léo Corrêa got a free kick in the 40th minute. D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP's Mané Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mané Toscano to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Cantareia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Cantareia's Charles Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Toscano in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Matías Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantareia's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Sampaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Jerônimo Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jerônimo Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Charles Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Lúcio Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Paiva was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Cantareia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Edgar Reis hit a great ball. Charles Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mané Toscano in the 88th minute of the match. D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
