Rodolfo Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duarte Ramalho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mané Toscano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Dantas in the 21st minute of play forced D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP's goalkeeper Rodolfo Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bacabal's Marcelo Dantas in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Bacabal defense, Jerônimo Damião kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Ramalho. Duarte Ramalho was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Vicente Lara capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Lara really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The supporters of D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP booed when Bacabal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Mané Toscano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bacabal's Duarte Ramalho didn't even have to move. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Duarte Ramalho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mané Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jerônimo Damião sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Couto made a kick off. Lúcio Braga charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lúcio Braga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sebastião Rossi came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Lira could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Bacabal's Marcelo Dantas got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jerônimo Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Duarte Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mané Toscano went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP's zone, Luiz Fabiano Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Lira came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute, Jerônimo Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Jerônimo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Damião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Duarte Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Duarte Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Lara in the 86th minute of the match. Duarte Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Duarte Ramalho came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by D.e.x.t.e.r FC SCCP's Lúcio Braga. But to his dismay, Lúcio Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Luiz Fabiano Alcântara hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Jerônimo Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Duarte Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
